At the end of 2012, I hosted my annual happy holidays giveaway on my blog where I asked readers to name a non-Sloan Parker m/m romance they’d recommend to a friend who hasn’t read any gay romances but would like to. The final list is below and includes over 130 titles, which I guess goes to show how vast reader preferences are when it comes to favorite reads.
I apologize for any misspellings of titles or author’s names. Each recommendation was copied as it was originally entered in the readers’ comments.
Thanks to all the readers who responded. I hope everyone who checks out this list finds some great new-to-you books to read.

Great list. Some of those I wouldn’t recommend to first time M/M readers though, lol.
As for non-Sloan Parker M/M authors – I LOVE Cameron Dane and Mercy Celeste and would buy anything they write any and every time.
Hi Karen. Thanks so much for adding your choices to the list. So many here I haven’t read yet.
I have to agree with Karen about one thing; I wouldn’t recommend some of the books to newbies either. It’s taken me almost 4yrs to be able to read some on the books here. LOL
I’ve read a fair number of the books on your list and btw, thanks for adding more on my TBR list.
You’re very welcome, Lena. Glad there’s some new stuff you can try out. I’ve got quite a few on this list I haven’t read and plenty of new-to-me authors to try out. Sounds like some will be quite interesting. Thanks for checking out the recs.
