Today I have some lovely romance eye candy. It’s a montage of several love stories from TV and the movie Shelter. The boys included are:

I must admit, I haven’t watched all of these yet, but this beautiful montage has me putting them on my list.

I’ve been following the story of Luke and Noah on As the World Turns to show my support of gay stories on US daytime TV. It was recently announced that the show has been canceled. I might have to check out One Life to Live. Anyone watch Oliver and Kyle? Maybe I can catch up on YouTube.

I watched GH: NightShift (Big surprise, hu?) Kyle and Eric were in the second season, and I’d hoped it would continue, but they canceled the show after season 2.
It was disappointing. The writing on Night Shift (especially in season 2 was so much superior to the daytime counterpart and because it appeared on Soapnet at 10pm. they could push envelopes.
Heard about ATWT. Unfortunately, daytime has taken some big hits recently. Time for the remaining soaps to learn to adapt or meet the same fate.

My lovely partner saved all the Kyle and Eric parts for me. I just haven’t watched them yet. I knew that story had ended, but I guess I didn’t realize the show was canceled. Sorry to hear that. I think you’re right about the soaps having to adapt. I think they need something big to save them at this point. Which is sad.

Geez Sloan I don’t know where you find all these videos but they sure do start a day off right!
This one had me in tears ~ I’d seen one of those stories, at least the connected bits ~ on YouTube; the one with the soldier. Beautiful. And I do have Shelter.. guess what I’m going to be watching today? Wow… you done good Sloan, real good!

I do love my video research. Usually I just stumble across these, but sometimes I go looking for good ones to add to my list. This one had me choked up too. The music was a lovely touch.
