This is an older story, but I just saw it last week for the first time and wanted to share. I dare you not to cry. Go on, watch it and try…

Wasn’t it great?

Thanks to the wonderful PG Forte for sharing this video on Facebook.
“Perry v. Schwarzenegger plaintiffs Paul and Jeff discuss how they met, how they fell in love and why marriage matters to them. This case is about constitutional principles, but it’s also about real people and real stories. This video, and their story, is why we’re in this fight.” Source

To celebrate the overturn of Prop 8, I thought I’d share this video. It’s a nice look at marriage through the eyes of a child (and Grover). Pure. Simple.

Lovely, isn’t it?

Sorry there was no post on Friday. I’ve spent the past week working on an outline for More #3 (Matthew’s story) and time got away from me.
For today’s video here is a wonderful collection of Steve Walker’s paintings. His work is gorgeous, and each one could serve as the inspiration for an entire story. Check out his site at www.stevewalkerartist.com

I have yet to watch more than a couple episodes of this show (it’s on my list of things to catch up on), but I just love this scene. It’s from the episode titled “Captain Jack Harkness.” Very powerful delivery.
“Stuck in 1941, where the dance hall is being used for service personnel. Jack meets the real Captain Jack Harkness, the man whose identity Jack took after his death, which Jack learns will be the following day at a training exercise.” (read more) Watch as Captain Jack comes out of the closet and shares a public kiss.

This guy is either on something or really needs a date. Be careful of your speaker volume or people will think you’re watching porn at one point. The rainbows are cool, though. Just not THAT cool.

Hope it gave you a laugh.

One very happy and relieved penguin. Some neat shots of the orcas too.
Beautiful and relaxing.

Here’s this week’s video I love…
“Donald Arthur had been given 6 months to live when he received a heart transplant. Now, with a new passion and purpose, he’s trying to complete a marathon in all 50 states.” – Source: vitality.yahoo.com
