Video I Love: The TV Theme Medley

This one is pretty dang cool. It’s one guy performing a medley of theme songs and openings from various TV shows.

Dang…I miss Firefly. That show rocked.

Hope you liked this week’s vid. Have a good one!

Quote I Love: First Kiss

I was having an off day earlier this week and I walked by a TV, saw the Golden Girls were on, and even though I couldn’t hear the sound, I smiled. The girls are just that awesome. They always make me laugh. So today I’m sharing one from the fantastic and sexy Blanche Devereaux.

Blanche: I do love the rain so… it reminds me of my first kiss.
Dorothy: Aww… your first kiss was in the rain?
Blanche: No… it was in the shower!

The Golden Girls

Still love that show!

Video I Love: Torchwood Jack & Jack

I have yet to watch more than a couple episodes of this show (it’s on my list of things to catch up on), but I just love this scene. It’s from the episode titled “Captain Jack Harkness.” Very powerful delivery.

“Stuck in 1941, where the dance hall is being used for service personnel. Jack meets the real Captain Jack Harkness, the man whose identity Jack took after his death, which Jack learns will be the following day at a training exercise.” (read more) Watch as Captain Jack comes out of the closet and shares a public kiss.

Enjoy,

Quote I Love: Without Passion

Here’s this week’s quote I love…

“Passion…it lies in all of us. Sleeping, waiting, and though unwanted, unbidden, it will stir…open its jaws, and howl. It speaks to us, guides us…passion rules us all; and we obey. What other choice do we have? Passion is the source of our finest moments. The joy of love, the clarity of hatred, and the ecstasy of grief. It hurts – sometimes more than we can bear. If we could live without passion, maybe we’d know some kind of peace. But we would be hollow, empty rooms, shuttered and dank. Without passion, we’d be truly dead.”

Have a good one,

Video I Love: The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia

Once a week, I post a video I’m loving. Here’s this week’s…

R.I.P. Dixie Carter. No one epitomized both femininity and strength the way you did.
