Almost 40 years since this poem was first published, and it’s still so relevant today. Maya Angelou’s introduction in this reciting offers me comfort. The nobleness of the human spirit does go on, continues to rise each and every day.

It’s election day here in the US, and if you’re like me, I’m sure you could use a break from the news. So here, have a smile with this cuteness overload.
This little thing starts off looking like a mole, but by day 28 she’s big enough to chew on her lifelong buddy’s ear. Too cute. After five months she was returned to the wild with a couple of other rescued foxes.

I cannot wait to see this movie. A real-life love story that serves as a reminder that love is an unstoppable force. It’s stronger than hatred and discrimination. It’s stronger than unjust laws and bigotry and intolerance.
