List of Prizes for June 2nd M/M Reader Appreciation Giveaway

This Saturday, June 2nd, SJ Frost, Jambrea Jo Jones, and I are hosting another m/m Romance Reader Appreciation Day at the Sweet Spot Yahoo Group to say thank-you to the readers who support the world of m/m Romance. This month we have a fantastic list of prizes (see below) so I hope you can join us and stay a bit to chat with the authors.

Here’s how to enter the giveaway:

  1. If you haven’t already, join the Yahoo Group at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TheSweetSpotMM/
  2. Watch the group page (or your email if you choose to receive emails from the group) on Saturday, June 2nd for a message with instructions on how to enter. The subject of the post should read something like “Enter the Giveaway: Respond to this thread for a chance to win”
  3. Reply to that message between 8am and 8pm EST indicating you’d like to enter the giveaway.

That’s it. You’ll be added to the drawing for your chance at a random prize. Winners will be announced via the group after the giveaway closes. Authors will be sent the winning email addresses at that time and will contact their winners directly.

Tomorrow, April 7th, is the first m/m Romance Reader Appreciation Day at the Sweet Spot Yahoo Group. It’s all about saying thank-you to the wonderful readers of m/m romance. Over the past few years, we’ve heard from many authors who are amazed and delighted by how supportive, kind, and generous they’ve found the people in the m/m reader community. We couldn’t agree more. You guys are the best. So we’d like to say THANK YOU for your part in supporting the various genres of m/m romance.

Announcing New Reader Appreciation Day with Giveaway

Fellow author SJ Frost and I are thrilled to announce the all new M/M Reader Appreciation Day at The Sweet Spot. This is one day every month for authors of m/m romances to say thanks to all the readers out there who support our writing efforts.

Readers, every month stop by the Yahoo Group to chat with authors and enter for a chance to win free books and other prizes from a variety of m/m authors.

The first Reader Appreciation Day will be held on Saturday, April 7. On that day, we’ll post a list of all prizes available. Just respond to the giveaway thread on the Yahoo Group between 8 am and 8 pm EST to be included in the drawing.

Authors, if you’re interested in participating in the giveaway, send an email to s.j.frost3 [at] gmail.com AND sloanparker.author [at] gmail.com with what you’d like to donate for the April giveaway. In the future we’ll include you in our monthly announcement for a chance to donate. You can participate as little or as often as you’d like. During the Reader Appreciation Day event, everyone who donated a book in the giveaway is welcome to post to the group with a blurb and buy link for their donated book(s). Gift certificates and other prizes are welcome too.

The Sweet Spot (an m/m romance reader group) is now on Facebook

I’m excited to share that author SJ Frost and I have created a Facebook page for our m/m reader group, The Sweet Spot.

Like our Yahoo Group, we’d love for the FB page to be place where readers can connect with each other and authors of m/m romances. We’re also discussing plans to hold contests, reader polls, share photos that inspire us, and other fun stuff like that. We’d love for you to stop by and “Like” the page. Share why you love m/m romances, what you’re reading, or anything else you’d care to talk about. The page is open for anyone to post.

You can also join us at our Yahoo Group. We’re in the process of planning a monthly Reader Appreciation day full of fab prizes. We’re finalizing the details now and hoping to start that in March.
